Y. filamentosa – Adam’s Needle – Adam’s Neddle-and-Thread – This very popular and widely grown, clump-forming Yucca is found naturally occurring in eastern USA, grows 30” tall and 5’ feet wide. It produces basal rosettes of inversely lance shaped, stiff, blue green leaves, to 30” long edged with curly white threads. Nodding, bell shaped white flowers, 2” long, tinged green or cream, are borne in upright panicles, to 6’ or more long in mid and late summer.

‘Golden Sword’ – Is larger then bright edge and has yellow centered leaves

Outdoors, grow in any well-drained soil including poor sandy soil, in full sun. Remove spent flowering stems.
