Description
Fosteriana Group (Division 13) – These medium to long stemmed tulips grow 8-26″ tall and mainly derive from T. fosteriana and bear single, bowl shaped flowers to 5″ across, are white to yellow or dark red, sometimes edged or flamed in another color, and with variable contrasting bases. Early to mid season flowering and produces leaves 2-12″ long, are usually light bright green to dark green sometimes mottled or stripped red purple. Suitable for a border.
