Single Early Group (Division 1) – These tulips grow between 6-18″ tall and mostly derive from T. gesneriana and bear cup shaped single flowers, to 3″ across, and bear white to dark purple, flamed, or flecked with contrasting color. Early and mid season flowering, leaves are 4-14″ long. Suitable for bedding or a mixed border, use low growing cultivars in containers
