Salix intergra ‘Hakuro Nishiki’ – Dappled Willow –

This deciduous shrub or small tree grows to 4-6′ feet tall and 5-7′ feet wide. Grow in moist, fertile but well drained soil, in full sun to part shade, thrives in consistently moist soil. Flowers are insignificant, more grown and used in gardens for its white, green and pink variegated leaves on graceful arching branches. Leaf color is best in cool summer climates.

Tolerates erosion, wet soils and black walnut.

Prune in late winter to early spring.
