Ivalace’ – has 1″ long, 5 lobed, lustrous dark green leaves with wavy, curled, and crimped edges. Excellent, all around ivy for a low wall, as a groundcover, or as a houseplant
Under glass, grow in soil based or soilless potting mix in bright indirect to low light. Water freely when in growth, apply a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly, keep moist in winter.
Outdoors, ivies tolerate a range of conditions but grow best in fertile, humus rich, moist but well drained soil. Green leaved ivies are shade tolerant. Variegated cultivars prefer more light, with protection from strong summer sun. Where marginally hardy, protect all ivies from winter sun and wind.
