This native to eastern Asia, which is in the soybean family, is widely grown for its edible bean. Plant in late spring, after all frost possibilities have disappear in average, well drained soil in full sun. Grown as a warm season annual because it can’t tolerate any frost.
Prone to Japanese beetles.
