Acer glabrum – Rock Maple – Rocky Mountain Maple – Found throughout the Rockies Mountains. This large shrub or small tree is multi-stemmed from the base and grows 20’ feet tall. The dark green leaves vary from 2-4” inches wide and are 5 lobed in autumn they turn yellow. Needs cold conditions to thrive. Zones 4-7
