Symptoms & Signs
Raspberry cane spot is identified by means of small black or dark green spots on the upper side of the leaves. The center of the spots eventually falls off, leaving behind holes in the leaves. In case of severe infection, the leaves may curl and fall off entirely. The spots can also spread to the canes, enlarging to form cankers.
Transmission
The spores travel by means of water; hence, summers with heavy rains cause the most damage to the plants.
